Shelter of Smiles Children Foundation Inc. is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to protecting and reuniting children affected by war, disasters, and crisis situations. We work across multiple countries, partnering with governments, local authorities, and healthcare systems to provide life-saving support for children who have been separated from their families.

We respond wherever children are separated by war and disaster, and we work to protect vulnerable children and families here at home in Canada. Today, our work is focused on four regions.
GAZA
Working alongside the United Nations to deliver food, medical supplies, and emotional support to children and their families — a crisis that has displaced up to 1.9 million people in desperate need.

Focused on protecting children’s rights, breaking the cycle of child poverty, and keeping families safe across Edmonton and Northern Alberta, with particular attention to the challenges facing immigrant and Indigenous women and their children. This includes addressing child trafficking in Alberta: labour exploitation, forced criminality, and domestic sexual exploitation.
